Before Jesus was born, John the Baptist was born to pave the way for His arrival (Matthew 3:1-3). During Jesus’ ministry on Earth, He needed the assistance of 12 men we call His disciples (Matthew 4:18-22). Before Jesus was crucified, He required the help of a man who provided the room where he eat the last supper with His disciples (Matthew 26:18). As Jesus was been beaten and taken to be crucified, Simon helped Him carry His cross (Matthew 27:32).
After Jesus died, a rich man named Joseph took His body, wrapped it in a clean cloth and buried Him in his own new tomb (Matthew 27:57-60).
After He resurrected, Jesus required the Apostles to help spread the gospel all over the World (Matthew 28:19-20).
If Jesus Himself knew the importance of “connection” in His ministry on Earth, then we should learn from Him. Don’t live life like an “island”. Make friends, build bridges, socialize and grow your network #in2019. As a wise man once said, “your network is your net worth”.
