I once asked a baby, “Do you know your daddy’s name?”. She smiled and said, “yes”. Curious, I asked, “so what’s daddy’s name?”. She smiled mischievously and answered very confidently, “daddy’s name is daddy”. I laughed.
Even the best footballer, richest businessman, President or most adored preacher is just simply “daddy” to their children.
God in His holiness and all His gregarious names is still just “father” or “daddy” to us. Approach Him like a child would approach his or her father, without fear or judgment and He will lift you up in His arms and ask, “so my child, what can I do for you?”
